Comprehensive information is recorded for each charge. The GEIMS provides comprehensive search capabilities for locating a valid charge type. When adding a charge, the booking officer can make an entry, or partial entry, in either the Charge Code, Statute Code, or Charge Description fields. The system will find the first match in the charge codes database and will display a list of all similar charges - starting at the first match found.
